that last post was pure bullshit

well I went through a number of name changes before realizing that Angie Fights Crime is as much me as I am it, to discard it with such little regard to the history of the whole thing would simply be stupid.

That and all the best names are taken by some ass-hat metal band.

so the last AFC album that you know of, was self-titled Angie Fights Crime, featuring a ton of famous locals etc who did the vocals for me.

2016 I completed two albums, Fair Game, a  solo recorded recorded on my iPad, and Flooded, which was about the floods of 2016 in Missouri as well as the election of 2016, sung by the wonderful Ash Reynolds.

That summer I embarked on a collaboration with Matt Ferrara and Wilson called MINOA, which was really supposed to have a ton of other people involved, but they all entirely bailed.  It was fun.

At the end of 2016 I put out RISEUP! featuring Katie Gilchrist on vocals, it was an Anthem rock album, a lot of electronics, and mixed by Matt Parker.

2017's RPM album was entitled 2017, and featured vocals by Madeleine Koestner.

2018's RPM album was called A440 and featured vocals by Wilson.  this was a super personal album about my life and Wilson's haunted vocals really brought out the emotion of the songs

2019's RPM album was ASTEROID, again featuring Katie Gilchrist on vocals.  This was an apocalyptic album about the end of the world.  I was praying for that ASTEROID, we're really screwed in this country.  Who even know things could get this bad.  Well 2020 would go on to prove me wrong, yet again.

the summer of 2019 we did eXchange 2, featuring a huge cast of friends, swapping songs, I decided I would re-invent their covers as CURE songs.  It was a blast, and featured the likes of Matt Ferrara, Tim Alexander, Jarrett Osborn, Ash Reynolds, Tess Avigear, Keith Landry, Colin Garvey, Wilson, Dave Storms, Dana Derrick and Matt Parker.

2020 came and my first album was Winter of Our Discontent, which was bleak, but so is February in Missouri.  COVID 19 hit, and everybody had to stay home, I quit my job to start a new job, and wound up doing a second album in April called the Machine, featuring Jarrett Osborn on drums, Stan Jones on lead guitar and Chris Wagner on bass.  It was a shit ton of fun to make, and now you're totally all caught up.
