2 albums, release date 11/26

the drums for the Vulnerary Songs are done, thanks to old friend Rob Medcalf from CoMo for driving in and knockin them out in record time. will be trying to finish it up before 11/26 which seems to be a yearly release date for me, wonder why that date is so special? Trials & Tribulations will be shooting for a release the same day, we'll see how that goes. The RPM 13 album will be a fresh idea that has yet to be written, so it could be a wild ride, tentative title "witch,ax,owl,barn" check out the entire catalogue for free http://alonetone.com/artwhore/playlists as the AFC series of albums wind down, i'll be publishing all the lyrics into one volume shortly. I think there's some good poetry in there.

August

the final touches to Trials & Tribulations are taking place as we speak, awaiting a church choir and a guitar solo or 2. The title for the next AFC album will be called "The Vulnerary Songs" and should be out in March '13. there is also talk of a collab with my favorite insane songwriter Vivian Circle and spectacular Brit vocalist Tess Savigear. details when i get back to this blog some day.

2012 and beyond

2012 saw the release of "Uniform" 12 songs using the same lyrics. it was quite a challenge. Currently working on a Symphony featuring a rock band called "Trial & Tribulations" there are 5 movements to the symphony and will feature the vocal stylings of Tess Savigear, Ashley Reynolds, Bethan Mathis, Jon Freeman, Dave Tanner, Alex Moody, Damian Lethbridge, Andrea Szirbik. Also starting to demo songs for the RPM 2013 extravaganza. This will be the "V" album and leaving 4 more albums to finish the set W, X, Y, Z. Not sure what will happen after that, but I have also just started a real band which could take over where AFC left off. Nothing set yet, but I do prefer to play with other people regardless of what 7 years of solo work may say about me. At the rate I've been putting out albums, the AFC set will be done by 2014 or sooner. I will try to make these last 5 albums something special. TRY being the key word. cheers!
